MEMBERS of Ryedale Youth Council have come up with a new way to help people get the most out of their gadgets and technology.
They have set up a project which involves young people who are handy with modern technology helping out those who find these things a little bit more difficult.
Paige Newsom, from the youth council, said they are working with Malton and Norton libraries to offer free drop-in sessions.
She said: “The young people will be on hand to give help and advice on a wide range of issues such as sending texts, setting up email accounts, sending emails and attachments, using facebook and twitter, using smart phones, downloading files and information and a range of other things,” she added.
The Teenaid drop in sessions will be held at Norton library on Wednesday, February 15, 9am-noon, and Malton library on Thursday, February 16, 2pm-5pm.
